MRK Foundation exists to advance research at the molecular and cellular level across cancer, autoimmunity, gut health, and longevity.
The most important questions in modern medicine, such as why cells become cancerous, why the immune system turns against the body, how the gut shapes systemic health, and why tissues age, are ultimately cellular questions. Answering them takes patience, discipline, and sustained support.
MRK Foundation was formed to help provide that support. We work with researchers who are already committed to careful science, and we try to make it easier for that work to continue and connect across disciplines.
We are deliberate about what we say publicly. We prefer to speak about the research we support in plain terms, and only when there is something meaningful to describe.
